Sshguard protects networked hosts from brute force
attacks against ssh servers. It detects such
attacks and blocks the attacker's address with a
firewall rule.

Changes:
The report on the IPF backend was merged. Support
was added for monitoring new services: dovecot
IMAP, UWimap IMAP and POP, FreeBSD's ftpd,
Proftpd, and pure-ftpd.
