Autopoweroff 2.9.1 (Default branch) |
|
|
Autopoweroff is a script that shuts down a
computer at a specific time, but only if some
conditions are met. It works well on home
routers/firewalls where the machine can be
switched off every night and powered back up in
the morning. It can be configured to only shut
down the server after any computers which depend
on the server for Internet access have been shut
down.

Changes:
The icon has been moved from "Applications/System Tools" to "System/Administration". This release officially supports Ubuntu, OpenSuSE, and Fedora. 'arping' is now also used in addition to 'ping'. If /dev/input/by-path/* are non-existant on a system, /dev/input/* entries are used instead. This will allow Autopoweroff to detect user events on Ubuntu 06.06, for instance. The About dialog would now closes properly.
