Internet DJ console is a graphical shoutcast/icecast client that runs under GTK+ and the JACK audio connection kit. In short, it's an Internet radio app for making a live radio show or podcast. Features include two main media players with a crossfader, a jingle player, microphone signal processing (compressor and noise gate), IRC track announcements with X-Chat, an automatic stream shut-off timer, MP3 or Ogg streaming and recording at various bit rates, aux input for connecting external JACK aware applications, and audio level meters. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: Support for Speex files, including tagging, better UI handling for builds lacking MP3 stream support, and the removal of support for Icecast version 1. The build process now supports setting of the required number of streamers and recorders. The Add Files dialog displays which file formats are supported. Generated EXTM3U metadata is now latin1 encoded. A new playlist parsing and saving schema was added. It supports m3u directory pull-in and additional playlist formats, xspf and pls. IDJC now builds on BSD systems and builds with pmake. A visual glitch in the seek bar was fixed. New command line options were added.
