Tine 2.0 is an effort to create a usable and stable replacement for eGroupWare. Taking other popular projects like KDE and Typo3 as prototypes, the Tine 2.0 effort refactors eGroupWare from scratch. Highlights of this release are the improved setup with automatic table updates and the new support for translations and locales. The first translation added is German, while the locales are mostly complete. The ACL supports roles and allows you to assign selected rights to user or groups.
