Knitter produces a 3-dimensional model of a knitting pattern. It supports KnitML, as well as a native language similar to that of traditional knitting patterns. It uses wxWidgets as a GUI framework and is available for Windows, Unix, and OS X. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This release includes significant code cleanup as a result of static analysis. Also changed in this version are improvements to the GUI meant to make adding stitches more intuitive. The stitch model has been updated in an attempt to fix the rendering of complex cables.
