Lapsus 0.0.6 (Default branch) |
|
|
Lapsus was created to provide easy access to
additional features of various laptops. Currently
there exists support for Asus and IBM laptops, but
IBM support is still highly experimental. It is
possible to control a laptop's LED status,
wireless, touchpad, and Bluetooth devices,
brightness of the LCD, and sound volume. These
features must be supported by either the
asus-laptop kernel module from the acpi4asus
project or the ibm-acpi driver.

Changes:
Recognition of LED names used by the new version
of the asus-laptop module was corrected. Support
was added for the volume and mute switches in IBM
laptops, and NVRAM updates were fixed. Alsa mixer
now always has a 0-100 volume range, and it
modifies the headphone channel together with the
best channel found. An issue that prevented lapsus
from building with the new gcc version was
corrected.
