Vyatta is a Linux-based router, firewall, and VPN
server. It is meant to deliver a flexible,
affordable alternative to Cisco 1800 through 7200
series routers.

Changes:
This release represents a substantial change to the Vyatta system. Nearly every subsystem was touched in some way. The new FusionCLI management interface provides networking and Linux functionality from the same prompt. The routing protocols have been reworked for increased scalability and performance. Remote access VPN support has been added. The QoS capabilities have been enhanced. WAN load balancing has been added. PPPoE support has been added. A DHCP client has been added. ECMP routing has been added. There are many bugfixes.
