Globus is a project to provide robust, secure, peer-to-peer distributed computing on supercomputers, clusters, and other high-performance systems. Security options added are an assertion embedded in cas-proxy-init that complies with RFC 3820 requirements on certificate extension, support for signing policy enforcement, and support for building GSI with an external OpenSSL package. A configurable option to control the number of concurrent threads to handle transfer requests has been added. There are numerous bugfixes.
