CADShuttle provides a multiCAD/multiPDM bridge in
order to organize and share data covering the
collaborative design of a mechanical product. The
first use cases currently implemented are: CAD
data package exchange between two partners of a
engineering project, CAD collaborative work and
change management, and 3D project review based
upon free of charge 3D viewers. The long-term
objective is to provide a simple interface to most
free or commercial CAD/PDM tools.

Changes:
The first public release focuses on basic features of collaborative engineering around the 3D digital mock-up. Currently 2 famous commercial CAD software packages and 1 PDM are implemented.
