Zim 0.24 (Default branch) |

Zim is a WYSIWYG text editor written in Gtk2-Perl
It aims to bring the concept of a wiki to your
desktop. Every page is saved as a text file with wiki
markup. Pages can contain links to other pages,
and are saved automatically. Creating a new page
is as easy as linking to a non-existing page. Pages are ordered in a hierarchical structure that gives it the look and feel of an outliner. This tool is intended to keep track of TODO lists or to serve as a personal scratch book.

Changes:
Zim now has a background process that keeps track
of open notebooks and makes sure each notebook is
opened only once. Attached files and images are
now handled more consistently throughout the
application. The notebook configurati file got its
own MIME type, so you can start zim by clicking
this file from your file browser. A todo-list
plugin has been added and the calendar now uses a
namespace per month for scalability. Many bugfixes
are included. Translations for German, French,
Italian, and Hebrew were added.
