BIXTEP is a tool for organizing textual
information in the Bash shell. It features an
easy-to-use interface, allows for fast input of
texts with your default editor, and displays the
relations between the tagged items. Its use spans
from quick note taking to managing excerpts and
sources. All data is stored in an XML file.

Changes:
This release features basic item types: notes, excerpts, and sources. Information can be organized through keywords and field relations. Full-text search, listing items, plain text export, and backup of files are implemented. The command line interface is separated from the user interface.
