This release ships with Linux 2.6.24.4, Xorg 7.3, Xfce 4.4.2, Firefox 2.0.0.3, Pidgin 2.4.1, and many other up-to-date popular applications. These are all packed in a 51M ISO. This release added basic MacTel support and greatly improved support for internationalization/locales. It also introduced a new method for auto-configuring X. All newer video cards can be auto-detected and configured. Booting and hardware detection were fine-tuned, and it is now possible to boot into X within 30 seconds on most hardware configurations.
