Vala is a new programming language that aims to
bring modern programming language features to
GNOME developers without imposing any additional
runtime requirements, and without using a
different ABI compared to applications and
libraries written in C.

Changes:
This release features nested namespaces, static constructors, and GType-registered enums. Bindings for GNOME Keyring, SDL, and libftdi have been added and the existing bindings have been updated. Many bugs have been fixed.
