WDB is a weather data storage system for storage
of weather and water observations, forecasts,
analysis fields, and models. The system should be
compatible with the meteorological standards BUFR
and GRIB (version 1 and 2). In addition to generic
loading programs, WDB also features a flexible
retrieval interface for retrieving weather data in
time series or entire fields. WDB is built using
PostgreSQL extended with PostGIS.

Changes:
Extensive improvements were made to the call
interface, adding multi-language support
(namespaces). Support was added for retrieval of
the "latest" data through data versions.
