Poppler is a PDF rendering library derived from
xpdf. It has been enhanced to utilize modern
libraries such as freetype and cairo for better
rendering. It also provides basic command line
utilities.

Changes:
Support was added for partial annotation and for
ActualText entries. Grouped checkboxes can now be
selected individually. Characters outside of the
Unicode Basic Multilingual Plane are displayed
with a TT font. PDF page labels are now preserved
when outputting to PostScript. Initial movie
support was added to the core. Initial optional
content support was added to the core and to the
Qt4 frontend. Preliminary annotation support was
added to the glib frontend. The core can now
detect the MIME types of embedded files. Many
other fixes and improvements were made.
