The Translate Toolkit is a set of tools designed to assist translators and localisers, with a specific focus on the Gettext PO and XLIFF formats. These tools currently include converters for Mozilla to PO and OpenOffice to PO, and checkers for punctuation, accelerators, etc. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: Bugfixes in moz2po and oo2po and fixes for packaging bugs that affected Pootle. Initial support for TMX files was provided in pofilter and pogrep, as well as notes support for TMX files. Some fixes were made to the cpo module. Updates were made to support PyLucene 1 and 2, though issues remain with 2.3. A bug with XML formats that didn't always output the XML declaration was fixed, correcting interoperability with other CAT tools. The generated documentation was fixed. The API documentation is now in translate/doc/api. Some extra support was provided in the lang module with new modules for Urdu and Malayalam.
