wview is an application that controls a supported weather station to retrieve archive records and current conditions. Archive records may optionally be stored in a relational database (MySQL or PostgreSQL). At a user-defined interval, wview will use the archive history and current conditions to generate weather images (buckets and graphs) and Web pages based on configurable HTML templates. It supports serial and USB data loggers, as well as connectivity with a terminal server or serial server via TCP sockets. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This release enabled NOAA generation for metric stations. A bug in wviewconfig that prevented non-standard database names for SQL setup was fixed. Start script generation was fixed to use $exec-prefix instead of $prefix for "WVIEW_INSTALL_DIR". A new !--stationType-- tag was added so that the weather station type can be produced for HTML pages, etc. wviewconfig was modified to allow specification of the station type. The "Generic" type was removed and "Simulator", "WXT510", and "WS-2300" were added.
