NeoOffice is a project that is developing a native Mac OS X port of OpenOffice.org with an Aqua look-and-feel. NeoOffice is under active development and is stable enough for daily use (NeoOffice/C is no longer under development). It provides the foundation upon which the user interface can be redesigned to adhere to the conventions of the Aqua Human Interface Guidelines.

This release adds support for playing QuickTime-compatible video in documents (Mac OS X 10.4.x and higher only), use of the system-wide grammar checker (Mac OS X 10.5.x only), and the ability to import images from scanners and cameras. It also features the ability to command-click on the window titlebar to reveal the document path, and menus are available when no documents are open.
