H2 is an SQL database engine written in Java that
implements the JDBC API. Embedded, server, and
clustering modes are available. A browser based
console application is included. The database has
strong security features. Disk based and in-memory databases and tables are supported.

Changes:
Collator-based text comparison is now faster. The CSVWRITE function now supports a 'null string'. A column can now be set to the default value in an update. Committing inside a trigger is not allowed any more. The full-text search has been improved. A multi-version concurrency bug has been fixed, as well as some problems with the H2 Console.
