PatientOS is a free healthcare information management system designed for hospitals and healthcare practitioners. This software is for physicians, nurses, pharmacist, the laboratory, and eventually all hospital departments and clinicians. Support was added for Unicode character sets, and multi-byte characters such as those found in the Japanese language can be displayed. Medications have been added demonstrating how to create a custom order entry workflow. Initial integration with a commercial drug database is demonstrated on the hosted demo. The CSV import for clinical forms has been expanded, and resource schedule management revised.
