libftdi is a library that talks to FTDI's FT232/245BM, FT2232C/D, and FT232/245R type chips, including the popular bitbang mode, using libusb. License: GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) Changes: Detection of R-type chips was added, including the ability to read out the FTDIChip-ID. Support for different EEPROM sizes was added. An experimental Linux only async write mode was introduced. Helper functions for the Vala bindings were included.
