Coreboot (formerly known as LinuxBIOS) is a project that aims to replace the normal BIOS with a little bit of hardware initialization and a payload. Payloads can include a compressed Linux kernel, FILO, GRUB2, OpenBIOS, Open Firmware, SmartFirmware, GNUFI (UEFI), Etherboot, ADLO (for booting Windows and OpenBSD), Plan 9, or memtest86. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This release adds virtual LDN support. It adds board_enable for Artec Group DBE61 and DBE62. Initial support for MSI MS-7135 (K8N Neo3) mainboard, as well as the Via CN700 with a C7 CPU and DDR2 RAM. Assorted bugfixes.
