Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This release is based on Debian etch 4.0r3. The newer kernel 2.6.22-4 from backports is used. It contains DRBL 1.8.2-38, Clonezilla 2.2.4-12, and ntfs-3g 1.2129-2. The Debian template ISO is created by live helper instead of live package. A new partclone package was added in DRBL so that it can image HFS+ and reiser4 partitions experimentally. Some bugs were fixed and some other functions were added.
