KAlarm 1.9.11 beta (Development branch) |
|
|
KAlarm lets you configure personal messages to be
displayed, commands to be executed, or emails to
be sent at scheduled times. Among its options, it
allows you to choose the message font and color,
how often to repeat, whether to display an advance
reminder, whether to speak the message or play a
sound when it is displayed, and whether to cancel
the alarm if it can't be triggered on time (e.g.
if you are logged out at the time). As well as
using the graphical interface to configure alarms,
you can use the command line, and there is a DCOP
interface for other applications.

Changes:
Errors in setting up sub-repetitions are fixed. The alarm edit dialog layout is improved. The alarm list now shows correct times for working-hours-only alarms, and their calculation has been sped up. Archived alarms are no longer displayed after an alarm refresh when they are supposed to be hidden. An error sending email with sendmail is fixed. Debian package dependencies now allow it to replace the official 'kalarm' package. There are other bugfixes and improved translations.
