Slackpkg is an automated package-management tool for Slackware Linux. It can do tasks such as automatic downloading and installing or upgrading, browse the MANIFEST.gz (Slackware package-contents guide), and more. Dependencies are not automatically handled. It is not a replacement for pkgtool, but a valuable add-on. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This release has a new command line parser, and accepts almost all slackpkg.conf options directly from the command line. There is a new "batch" mode to do updates without human interaction. There is an updated mirrors file and many bugfixes.
