PeaZip is a cross platform, desktop neutral
archiver tool that supports 7Z, 7-Zip sfx,
ARC/WRC, BZ2/TBZ2, GZ/TGZ, LPAQ/PAQ, PEA, QUAD,
split, TAR, and ZIP. It can also browse and
extract ACE, ARJ, CAB, CHM, Compound files, CPIO,
DEB, ISO, JAR/EAR/WAR, LHA, LZH, NSIS installers,
OOo files, PET/PUP, RAR, RPM, SLP, and Z. The
program features support for multi-volume spanning
and encryption and integration with
freedesktop.org-compliant environments such as
GNOME and KDE.

Full support was added for the FreeArc format, including the ability to create, extract, browse (flat), test, and recover archives. A new checksum/hash tool for multiple files at once was added, which supports Adler32, CRC16/24/32/64, eDonkey/eMule, MD4/MD5, Ripemd160, SHA1/224/256/384/512, and Whirlpool512. The UPX frontend was updated to 3.02. The p7zip frontend was updated to 4.57 (Linux version). Various fixes and improvements were made. A CRC field was added to the archive browser.
