The Noble Ape Simulation creates a random environment and simulates the ape inhabitants' cognitive processes. It features the Ocelot landscape rendering engine.

Changes:
The code was substantially rewritten for multiple
versions in the next release. This version
contains the last non-XML version of the file
format and possibly the last MacOS 9 (Carbon)
compatible version. The source code contains the
Mac OS 10.5 version, the Apple update version, the
Intel update version, and the OpenGL graphics
version (although all of these are not included in
the executable release).
