Paludis is a package management library that works
with Gentoo style ebuilds, together with a simple
console client. It is entirely independent of
Portage.
License: GNU General Public License (GPL)
Changes:
The recent version of Portage unpacks lzma files,
in violation of PMS and without any way for
ebuilds to check for this behavior. This
misbehavior is now emulated. A work-around was
made for tr1::shared_ptr not being usable with a
tr1::mem_fn when using boost. Various ICC oddities
were worked around.
