Sudo (su "do") allows a system administrator to give certain users (or groups of users) the ability to run some (or all) commands as root while logging all commands and arguments. Sudo operates on a per-command basis, it is not a replacement for the shell.

LDAP improvements, including an added configure check for the ber_set_option() function and support for the tls_checkpeer ldap.conf variable for Netscape-based LDAP SDKs. A long-standing problem where an incomplete password could be echoed to the screen if there was a read timeout has been fixed. This release includes updated Kerberos 5 ticket verification code.
