ALTSE is an alternative search engine technology.
It can index up to a couple million Web sites.

Changes:
Multiple indexes feature has been added. This makes it possible to index sametime another index, and display another index at the Web front. There is no limit to how many indexes the indexer can build. An initial installation instructions document has been added, named "INSTALL" according Linux standards. This release should provide significant boost to the search, but at the same time cause a 15-35% decrease to indexing performance.
