Elastix is a software appliance that integrates
the best tools available for Asterisk-based PBXs
into a single, easy-to-use interface. It also adds
its own set of utilities and allows for the
creation of third party modules. The goals of
Elastix are reliability, modularity, and
ease-of-use. It also features strong reporting
capabilities.

Changes:
Enhancements were made to the hardware detection module. It is possible to configure the zapata.conf file automatically. A bug in the vTiger RPM was fixed along with a bug in the validation of the email user field that rejected any adrress with the minus character. The Croatian language was added. Unnecessary modules were removed from the modules.conf file. The spandsp RPM was updated to version 0.0.4 and a new fxloader RPM was added to support Astribanks devices manufactured by Xorcom. Bugs in the recordings and voicemail modules were fixed.
