The ATA over Ethernet Tools are intended for use
in conjunction with an ATA over Ethernet (AoE)
driver for a Linux 2.6 kernel. They perform simple
tasks like listing available devices, triggering
device discovery, and restricting the network
interfaces on which AoE is performed.

Changes:
Support for dynamic minor device numbers was added. A new tool, "aoe-version", displays version info for AoE-related software. A new aoetools man page provides an overview of all the tools. The new aoecfg program fully implements the config-string section of the AoE protocol. The aoe-flush command can now operate on specific devices.
