Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: In this release, some new functions and programs were added. The kernel was updated to 2.6.22-3. GPT (GUID Partition Table) partitions are supported now. Intel Mac cloning using dd was added. (This is still in beta status.) Some programs were added, such as ethtool, wodim, cdrecord, and net-tools. Some minor bugs were fixed.
