GNU FreeIPMI is a suite of packages for controlling hardware that provides an interface compliant with the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) specification. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: Previously missing IPMI 2.0 (-D LAN_2_0) support was added into many tools. IPMI compliance workarounds were ported into many tools. All man pages were updated with more instructions, information, examples, and troubleshooting tips. Error messages were rewritten to provide more accurate descriptions. Many command line options, interactive prompts, and config file options were made consistent across the FreeIPMI tools. There were various other minor bugfixes and feature enhancements.
