The TuxCap games framework is a GNU/Linux port of
PopCap's games framework, which is a very commonly
used framework for professional casual 2D game
development on Windows. It is written in C++, and comes with Python bindings, a very fast internal 2D physics engine, and many documented examples to get you started.
