rxvt-unicode is a clone of the well known terminal
emulator rxvt, modified to store text in Unicode
and to use locale-correct input and output. It
also supports mixing multiple fonts at the same
time, including Xft fonts, real transparency, and
an optional embedded Perl interpreter that allows
you to extend your terminal easily.

Changes:
Due to bugs in most implementations of kqueue,
this backend has been
disabled on everything but NetBSD. A workaround
for spurious event
notifications from epoll and Solaris ports has
been implemented. Both
changes fix "urxvt freezes until you press a key"
and similar symptoms.
Also, the -keysym option has been re-added
(subject to Xlib parsing
rules), and a -xrm option that works like the Xt
option of the same name
has been added.
