PeerStream Audio Video Streaming server is a
lightweight, scalable and multi-purpose streaming
server for broadcasting nearly every known audio
and video format. It supports all major formats
and can be configured to use other, not directly
supported media types. Encoding of live data is
also possible. Streaming via unicast, multicast,
podcast, UPnP shares and bandwidth-saving via a
peer-to-peer-network is supported.

This version supports automated upstream bandwidth detection for the peers. No user interaction is necessary to decide what capabilities a peer has.
