Opera is a full-featured Internet tool, most
notably a fully standard conforming Web browser.
Opera includes pop-up blocking, tabbed browsing,
integrated searches, and advanced functions like a
password manager, mouse gestures, native Scalable
Vector Graphics (SVG) support, an email program,
RSS newsfeeds, and IRC chat. It is designed to be
fast and highly customizable.

Recent security issues were fixed. Several freezes and problems with plugins were resolved. Inline find was vastly accelerated. Handling of badly nested HTML tags was improved. SVG support was enhanced. Support for the CSS3 "box-sizing: inherit" value was added. Support for APNG was added. Opera Mail was made multi-threaded to improve performance. Numerous stability and performance improvements were made, and many bugs were fixed.
