system-config-printer configures a CUPS server. It
uses the CUPS API (bound to Python with pycups) to
do this. The communication with the server is
performed using IPP. As a result, it is equally
able to configure a remote CUPS server as a local one.

Changes:
The orientation-requested control has been given
better behavior. Some tracebacks have been fixed.
The foomatic recommended driver can now be
discovered. The algorithm for matching a PPD to a
device has been improved. A new IPP browse dialog
has been added. The raw queue now appears under
"Generic". Some translation fixes have been made.
