GEX is a small and simple desktop environment for X. The first generation is meant to provide a basic set of features with a very simple configuration mechanism. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This release is the first one with simple session management (child processes like gex-panel and gex-desktop are restarted if they have exited). Other additional programs that should be monitored by gex-session may be added. For the GEX panel, a few fixes in the layout functionality were made (like new border drawing). Support for several monitors per screen (not complete yet) was implemented.
