Apache Geo Map is a script that parses an Apache combined access log for the IP addresses of hosts that have accessed the server. It then looks up a Geo-Tag for those locations and, if successful, it adds them to a data file which the Google Maps API then displays. This plots all unique resolvable hits on a map. License: GNU General Public License v3 Changes: This release adds config support from the command line (e.g. ./apache-geo-map.pl -c /etc/apachegeomap/default.conf). This should allow you to run the script easily for multiple sites. The script still supports defaults, so you don't have to specify a config file. This release also includes a fixed example and README documentation.

COMDOM Antispam is a high-capacity platform designed for the requirements of ISPs and other large organizations that must fight spam. COMDOM is a powerful anti-spam system operating as a stand alone mail gateway with relay control, authentication, and load balancing support. The system consequently can be used together with mail servers or as a stand alone gateway for several mail servers. The robustness, flexibility, and the high data throughput capacity of COMDOM Antispam allow for the software to be deployed for a range of solutions. License: Other/Proprietary License with Free Trial Changes: This release adds the ability to set priorities/order of filters in a message's evaluation process, and the ability to configure Bayes's HAM/SPAM levels (within the range of 0-100). It also adds the option to clean expired records from greylists (vacuum) using the commap utility. There are several bugfixes.

Libzen is a library written in C++ that implements the BitTorrent protocol. It is currently at a very early stage of development. The aim of this project is to develop a stable library followed by a fully functional client application.

Measuring Buffer is an enhanced version of buffer. It features display of throughput, memory-mapped file I/O for huge buffers, network support, and multithreading. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This release fixes mlock failure if -L is passed before -T. It uses MAP_SHARED instead of MAP_PRIVATE to work around low memory limitations with huge buffers. A segfault when missing an argument has been fixed. Libraries are linked after objects to prevent linker errors.

Hocuspocus is a small and extensible Web server for controlling key Linux applications remotely via a Web server. This means you can adjust things like system volume from any browser, including a WiFi enabled PDA such as the iPhone. License: GNU General Public License v3 Changes: This release improves the GUI and overall usability.

BitRock InstallBuilder allows you to create easy-to-use multiplatform installers for Linux (x86/PPC/s390/x86_64/Itanium), Windows, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris (x86/Sparc), IRIX, AIX, and HP-UX applications. The generated application installers have a native look-and-feel and no external dependencies, and can be run in GUI, text, and unattended modes. In addition to self-contained installers, the installation tool is also able to generate standalone RPM packages. License: Other/Proprietary License with Free Trial Changes: This release adds the ability to have indeterminate progress bars, generation of 64-bit RPM packages, and a Relax-NG schema.

WDB is a weather data storage system for storage of weather and water observations, forecasts, analysis fields, and models. The system should be compatible with the meteorological standards BUFR and GRIB (version 1 and 2). In addition to generic loading programs, WDB also features a flexible retrieval interface for retrieving weather data in time series or entire fields. WDB is built using PostgreSQL extended with PostGIS. License: GNU General Public License v2 Changes: This release fixes some problems in the GRIB loading component related to the detection of the circumstances in which new field definition metadata is required.

Syntext Serna is a highly customizable, multi-platform, pure XSL-driven WYSIWYG XML content editor. It looks and works like a conventional word processor, yet it gives you much more flexibility to alter or reuse content while keeping its integrity intact. It lets you collaborate on compound documents that contain embedded data from various sources. Content is viewed as an integrated whole that is intuitively transparent to authors. License: Other/Proprietary License with Free Trial Changes: This version features native platform support for Solaris 8 (Sun SPARC) and Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). A number of stability issues were fixed.

Policyd v2 (codenamed "cluebringer") is a multi-platform policy server for popular MTAs. This policy daemon is designed mostly for large scale mail hosting environments. The main goal is to implement as many spam combating and email compliance features as possible while at the same time maintaining portability, stability, and performance. Its features include detailed policy and group specification, access control, helo/ehlo checks (helo randomization prevention and RFC compliance), SPF checks, Greylisting, Quotas, and Amavisd-new integration. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: Over 100 changes and bugfixes were made.

Timecardimport allows time sheet data to be imported from GnoTime for Unix, Timesheet for Palm OS, or iBiz for Mac OS X, into SQL-Ledger as time cards. License: Perl License Changes: Several bugs in the Web interface were fixed for importing timeline files and in the optional routine that overwrites a Gnome Time Tracker file with a copy marking the imported timelines as paid.

KontrolPack is an efficient, cross-platform remote shell command executor. The project's goal is to improve system interoperability when connecting to remote computers (independently of operating systems running) and when executing shell commands across networks. License: GNU General Public License v2 Changes: This release offers new client handling (with a more friendly user interface with dynamic tap panel) and a new command memory system (like in a real shell terminal). Some graphical bugs have been fixed. Regarding the ShellKontrol client, users can now run it as an NT service or a Unix daemon, and some Bourne shell scripts have been created to install or uninstall a client under a Unix-like platform.

OpenNMS is the first enterprise-grade network management platform developed using the open source model. The three main functional areas of OpenNMS are service polling, which monitors services on the network and reports on their "service level"; data collection from the remote systems via SNMP in order to measure the performance of the network; and a system for event management and notifications. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This is the second release candidate for the next stable release. The yum and apt repositories have been updated.

open-cgf provides a 3GPP-compliant charging gateway function (CGF) as a sink for SGSN, GGSN, and other streamed CDRs on the 3GPP Ga/Gz interface. Refer to 3GPP 32.295. These are common data elements of GSM/UMTS mobile telephone networks. License: GNU General Public License v2 Changes: Limited integration testing has been performed with a GGSN, more is desirable.

dradis is a tool for sharing information during security testing. While plenty of tools exist to help in the different stages of the test, not so many exist to share interesting information captured. When a team of testers is working on the same set of targets, having a common repository of information is esential to avoid duplication of efforts. License: GNU General Public License v2 Changes: In the client, HTML tags are correctly displayed in the notesbrowser, the module to export to XML is now part of the core module set, a new implementation of the command line parser was made, and the window.rb:159 bug was fixed. In the server, a slightly less annoying implementation of the web interface "auto refresh" functionality was made, the services added through the Web interface can have a name now, simple prevention against embedded XSS was added, and the missing submit.png image is included in the release now.

LilyKDE is a set of tools to integrate the LilyPond music typesetter into KDE. It consists of icon and MIME type information for LilyPond files, a Kate plugin to run LilyPond and embed a preview with clickable notes and error messages, and a Konqueror service menu. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: As a new feature, you can put special formatted variables in your LilyPond document to instruct LilyKDE to compile a different file. This is useful when you are working on a file that is included by another file. This implements the feature requested in issue#2. When you called hyphenation and had no text selected, the error message did not show. This has been fixed.

J51 is a Intel MCS51 emulator with all the standard integrated peripherals. A disassembler with an integrated debugger is also included. Standard peripherals emulated are Timer 0/1 (Mode 0, 1, 2, and interrupts), serial interface in polled and interrupt mode, standard I/O, and ports 0 to 4. Microprocessors emulated are the Intel MCS 8051 (no peripherals), Intel 8051, Intel 8052, Philips LPC674, and Philips LPc900. License: Freeware Changes: The assembler panel now uses JTable. Performance was improved with the new design of the disassembler. The performance of Timer and Timer2 was improved. More compiled samples were added. The GUI was made better and more frendly.

Spensierato is a simple-to-use Web site CMS. It is designed to allow in-site editing so that non-technical users can just find the page, update an element, and save it. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: Site registration now works. Adding child pages and elements to a page works. Editing of text elements is done.

Visualization Library is a C++ middleware for 2D/3D graphics applications based on the industry standard OpenGL 2.1. It supports advanced features like OpenGL Shading Language, Frame Buffer Objects, Multiple Render Targets, Vertex and Pixel Buffer Objects, KdTree/AABB frustum culling, a multilingual Unicode-based text engine, advanced texturing, DDS cubemaps, mipmaps, compressed textures, and much more. WebGUI is a content management framework built to allow average business users to build and maintain complex Web sites. It is modular, pluggable, and platform independent. It was designed to allow the people who create the content to manage it online, rather than content management taking up the time of busy IT staff. WebGUI comes with a full host of features including shopping cart, subscriptions, forums, photo galleries, FAQs, link lists, blogs, SQL reports, a Web services interface, and a very configurable user privilege and profiling system. eHour is a Web-based time registration tool for project-based businesses. The primary objective is to keep time tracking as simple as needed while still being very effective at measuring and reporting the amount of time your team spends on a project. It is developed in Java (Spring and Hibernate) with a MySQL backend. License: Freeware Changes: eHour is now translated in French, Italian, and Dutch. Partial German, Polish, Spanish, and Portuguese translations are included. Furthermore, the first day of the week and the number of work hours in a day are configurable. Authenticated SMTP is now supported as well.

YourKit Java Profiler is a CPU and memory profiler that makes it easy to solve wide range of CPU- and memory-related performance problems. It features automatic leak detection, powerful tools for the analysis of memory distribution, an object heap browser, comprehensive memory tests as part of your JUnit testing process, extremely low profiling overhead, transparent deobfuscation support, and integration with Eclipse, JBuilder, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans, and JDeveloper IDEs. License: Free for non-commercial use Changes: IntelliJ IDEA 8 (EAP) is supported (tested with build 8280). Quality of sampling was improved for programs which use java.util.concurrent blocking. Navigation to inner and anonymous classes was improved for the Eclipse IDE. A Mac OS X 10.5 problem was fixed, namely a possible exception in the UI after closing tabs.

Patch Check Advanced (pca) generates lists of installed and missing patches for Sun Solaris systems and optionally downloads patches. It resolves dependencies between patches and installs them in the correct order. It works on all versions of Solaris and on both SPARC and x86. License: Free To Use But Restricted Changes: HTML tags in patchdiag.xref are ignored. This change from Sun to patchdiag.xref breaks compatibility with all previous versions of PCA and makes updating mandatory. An option for concurrent patch downloads was added. A new option to set sunsolve access protocol to HTTPS was added. wgetproxy options for non-SunSolve URLs are honored as well. The file ../etc/pca-proxy.conf is read in proxy mode. Checks for several patches were added.

ImdbPHP provides an API to the movie information stored at the IMDB.COM sites. As this and the name suggests, it is primarily targeted at PHP programmers who want to extend their programs or their site with this movie information. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: IMDB site changes required some fixes. Additional to these, there's now support for bigger cover photos, and some code reorganization was done in preparation for the new imdb_person class.

Cerberus Helpdesk is an email application which focuses on teams sharing mailboxes. It features Fetch and Retrieve, Super Sorter, and Virtual Community Tools. License: Other/Proprietary License with Source Changes: This release includes several dozen improvements and fixes from community feedback. Knowledgebase management has returned to the admin interface and has also been integrated with the customer-facing Support Center interface. Performance has been improved based on intense real-world profiling. Minor security patches have been applied. The project has also adopted MySQL 4.1+ as the official database platform in preparation for better i18n and transaction support.

GTK VNC Viewer is a script that provides a GUI for connecting to VNC servers. It remembers the credentials of known servers, so connecting to a VNC server is just one double-click away. Servers are shown in an icon view. License: GNU General Public License v2 Changes: The License file was added. Fullscreen capability was added. The mo files were packaged. Internationalization support was added. Launchpad integration was added, and the connect dialog layout was cleaned up.

TrackStudio is a hierarchical Java-based issue tracking and bug tracking system. It includes per-project workflows, user role specific actions, filters, notification rules, subscriptions, access control lists, and reports. Both hierarchical categorization and cross-cutting views of your issue space are provided.

QLBar is a toolbar gadget for X11 that contains icons and allows you to launch associated applications quickly. Normally, it appears as a one pixel line high placed at the edge of the screen. When the mouse is moved over this line, QLBar appears as a bar with icon images. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: Two bugs with tooltips hiding have been fixed.

Butterfly Container is a Java dependency injection container. It is smaller (~100KB jar), yet more flexible and easier to use than Spring, Pico, and Guice (at least in the developers' opinion). Instead of XML, Butterfly Container is configured using a simple, flexible, Java-like configuration language, or by plugging plain non-annotation, non-reflection Java factories into the container. There are no external dependencies. License: The Apache License 2.0 Changes: This version makes it possible to replace factories in the container at runtime. This is a handy feature during unit testing.

Seismic Toolkit is a tool for processing and displaying seismic signal data in a graphical interface. It reads seismic signals in SAC format, and provides a variety of signal processing, such as filtering, spectral analysis, polarisation analysis, time-frequency representation, Hilbert transform, and singular value decomposition. Some utilities are included for useful seismological applications, like computation of Seismic Moment Mo, Mantle magnitude Mm and Moment magnitude Mw, MTPA spectral analysis, plotting focal mechanisms, computation (and plotting) of instrumental response from poles and zeros, and some usefull GMT (Generic Mapping Tool) scripts for plotting signals, responses, and time-frequency in Postscript files for high quality prints. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: Parameter dialog boxes may now be proceeded with the "Enter" key. Closing the parameter dialog boxes (via ESC or close button) no longer causes a crash. A potentially incorrectly auto-detected endianness of binary SAC files (due to wrong IFTYPE range) was fixed. Byte-swapping is performed only on numerical values. When globbing input_files, a native function (glob_files) is used insted of calling external programs (ls/dir). When dealing with memory allocations, Glib's malloc functions are used. Various code cleanups were done.

JACL is an interpreted language for creating HTML-based games and interactive fiction (text adventure games). The JACL interpreter contains an integrated Web server, allowing games to be played locally or across the network with minimal configuration. As all execution takes place on the server, users require nothing more than a plain Web browser to play. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: All code has been cleaned up and the majority is now shared across all versions of the interpreter. The in-game command parser has been totally rewritten and the console interpreter has been ported to make use of the Glk user interface API. Documentation has also been expanded and is now also provided as a printable PDF. Many other new features have been added, as well as many bugfixes.

ModSecurity Console is a real-time monitoring and log agreggation solution for ModSecurity. It is a self-contained package (it consists of an event-collecting daemon, Web server, and database engine) written in pure Java (can be deployed on any platform that supports JRE 1.4 or better). Features include secure log centralization, alert management and notification, customizable reporting, and DNS and geographic IP resolution. It supports up to three ModSecurity sensors. License: Free To Use But Restricted Changes: This version fixes a small bug that prevented viewing of multipart transactions.

AgileWiki is meant to create software systems which are fluid, easily configured and can be reorganized on-the-fly to meet ever changing requirements. It includes a COW-based database, the Rolonics programming paradigm, and semantic inferencing. License: Common Public License Changes: Several bugs relating to navigation in time were fixed. The setAttribute command was added. The snapshots command now lists the headlines from the corresponding transaction rolons, which gives a description of what was changed after the snapshot was made. (Snapshots being before images.)

Linux is a clone of the Unix kernel, written from scratch by Linus Torvalds with assistance from a loosely-knit team of hackers across the Net. It aims towards POSIX and Single UNIX Specification compliance. It has all the features you would expect in a modern fully-fledged Unix kernel, including true multitasking, virtual memory, shared libraries, demand loading, shared copy-on-write executables, proper memory management, and TCP/IP networking. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This version fixes local security issues CVE-2008-1375 and CVE-2008-1669. Users of 2.4 are encouraged to upgrade (or to apply the fixes).

The LServe LDS License Manager is a license distribution server that allows you to securely license your software products via the network. These licenses can't be cracked with a simple key generator. Licenses can be revoked if necessary. Additional license information can be distributed in case a licensing request was valid. The LServe LDS fits several licensing models and comes with an SDK for all important operating systems and hardware platforms for easy integration into existing applications. License: Other/Proprietary License Changes: The functionality of the network layer of both the server and the distributed libraries was enhanced to work better also with problematic Internet connections.

uni2ascii and ascii2uni convert between UTF-8 Unicode and 29 7-bit ASCII equivalents including: hexadecimal and decimal HTML and SGML numeric character references, u-escapes, standard hexadecimal, raw hexadecimal, and RFC2396 URI format. Such ASCII equivalents are useful for entering Unicode in program source or in programs that are not 8-bit safe, and for testing and debugging. Several options allow Unicode to be converted to approximately equivalent ASCII, e.g. by stripping diacritics. An optional GUI is provided. License: GNU General Public License v3 Changes: This release fixes a bug that produced bad output or a segmentation fault if a line ended in the prefix to an escape. In quoted-printable format, if a line ends in an equal-sign, both the equal sign and the immediately following newline are now skipped by ascii2uni, in accordance with RFC 2045.

Joomla! is an award-winning Web-based content management system. It provides for split front end content access and backend administrator access. Group-based access control allows for different levels of system control for both the site and the administrator. The Joomla! framework allows for extension by installable components (applications), modules (template blocks), languages, templates, and mambots (plugins that enhance system functions). License: GNU General Public License v2 Changes: Database name validation was fixed. xHTML compliance was fixed. A JFilterInput infinite loop was fixed. PDF fixes were made for PHP 4. Minor CSS and RTL problems were fixed.

Yasm is a complete rewrite of the NASM assembler. It currently supports the x86 and AMD64 instruction sets, accepts NASM and GAS assembler syntaxes, outputs binary, ELF32, ELF64, COFF, Mach-O (32 and 64), RDOFF2, Win32, and Win64 object formats, and generates source debugging information in STABS, DWARF 2, and CodeView 8 formats. License: BSD License (revised) Changes: Support was added for Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) instructions, multi-section binary, ELF32 and ELF64 TLS (thread local storage) relocations, SSE5 condition codes, and the SAFESEH directive for Win32 SEH handlers. Many other syntax additions (such as allowing underscores in hex and binary constants) and bugfixes were made.

GraphicsMagick is a robust collection of tools and libraries which support reading, writing, and manipulating an image in over 90 major formats including popular formats like TIFF, JPEG, JPEG-2000,PNG, PDF, PhotoCD, SVG, and GIF. A high-quality 2D renderer is included, which provides a subset of SVG capabilities. C, C++, Perl, Tcl, and Ruby are supported. Originally based on ImageMagick, GraphicsMagick focuses on performance, minimizing bugs, and providing stable APIs and ABIs. It runs on all modern variants of Unix, Windows, and Mac OS X. License: MIT/X Consortium License Changes: Minor issues discovered in the 1.2 release were corrected. This includes correcting the --libs path reported by GraphicsMagick-config and the content list in the RPM spec file. Some additional performance optimizations were added so that the modules build runs faster and the gm utility starts up faster.

News Script allows you to write articles for your Web site. It features a WYSIWYG editor which makes writing an article easy. It supports search engine friendly URLs. The script is completely template driven and includes an installation routine. License: Other/Proprietary License Changes: Handling when the script is being included was improved.

Schedule Organizer is an online appointment planner that allows customers to reserve an appointment with a company via the company's homepage. Appointment and customer data can be edited by the customers and operators. License: Other/Proprietary License Changes: The selected language appointment area are remembered after login. Problems with reminder emails were fixed. CSS handling was changed.

Zarafa allows you to share Outlook email and calendars, even when you are out of the office, via Outlook, with your PocketPC or through WebAccess. Command line tools are provided to integrate with your existing MTA for email delivery and for user creation/editing. License: Other/Proprietary License with Free Trial Changes: This release fixes some issues with the gateway, disappearing zarafa buttons in Outlook, and admin installation problems. Builds were added for Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and the IA64 architecture.

ControlTier is a complete system for automating the build, release, deployment, and configuration of multi-tier application services. It enables you to specify a configuration and procedural model for an integrated application stack (e.g. a LAMP stack), and then use that model to build, package, deploy, configure, and control that stack as one logical entity into any environment. PatientOS is an electronic medical record system (PMS and EHR or EMR) for a physician or clinics. It is designed to be expanded into a healthcare information system for a hospital. It is a distributed clinical system. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This version integrates iReport, an enterprise report writer to create both stand-alone SQL based reports and reports from PatientOS-generated XML. JFreeChart has also been integrated and may be embedded into clinical forms to dynamically generate and display charts and graphs. Registration and clinical forms can be created using a dynamic form generating wizard. Configuration, setup, and internationalization properties have been simplified. Several enhancements were done with scheduling and prescription writing.

BRL-CAD is a powerful constructive solid geometry solid modeling system that includes an interactive geometry editor, ray-tracing support for rendering and geometric analysis, path-tracing for realistic image synthesis, network distributed framebuffer support, and image and signal-processing tools. License: GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) Changes: This release has a few minor updates, bug fixes, and tweaks. It includes useful enhancements to RT, RTAREA, and MGED's "clone" and "saveview" commands, among other enhancements. An infinite loop bug in the "clone" command was fixed. A new -k cutaway view option was added to RT. The "saveview" command provides means to override output and invocation. You can now create/import binary objects from within MGED. RTAREA sports a new -u units option.

NTFS-3G is a stable read/write NTFS driver. It is available for over 130 Linux distributions, including most major ones. Moreover, it has been ported to other operating systems like FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenSolaris, Haiku, and Mac OS X, and to big-endian and 64-bit computer architectures. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes: This release fixes a potential data corruption which could happen on any area of the NTFS volume except the NTFS boot sector. The chance for this to happen is higher for close to full disk utilization and using one of the more uncommon, less than 4096 byte cluster sizes. All stable releases have this issue since version 1.328. Upgrading is strongly recommended from all NTFS-3G releases.

Greylite is a SPAM filter with exceptional effectiveness and without false positives. It combines natively with qmail and works as a proxy for any SMTP server. It implements a modified greylisting algorithm that improves the filtering effectiveness and minimizes the delay drawbacks associated with the standard greylisting algorithm. It is self-contained because it uses SQLite, and is easy to setup and maintain, small, and fast. License: BSD License (revised) Changes: greylite now supports load balancing on upstream SMTP servers, such that one single greylite instance can be used to filter junk mail for many MDAs. New man pages for modules were written.

commonc++ is a C++ class library for developing cross-platform systems software for POSIX and Windows systems. It provides an intuitive, object-oriented abstraction and portability layer around common operating system facilities like threads, concurrency mechanisms, sockets, networking, shared memory and other IPC mechanisms, regular expressions, files, streams, logging, process execution, scheduling, and more. It also includes a collection of common abstractions like strings, buffers, and object pools. License: GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) Changes: This release includes a few API enhancements and a large number of bugfixes.
